Ich wollte nach Jahren mal wieder GW2 installieren, was aber nicht so ganz funktioniert. Der download hält bei 93% oder so an. Bzw er

lädt angeblich weiter, die mb/s gehen hoch und dann wieder runter auf 0 und das wiederholt sich. Die verbleibenden Dateien bleiben stehen bei 41k. Hab schon drei mal deinstalliert und wieder versucht , mit dem selben Ergebnis. Natürlich habe ich gegoogled und sachen gefunden von wegen in der verknüpfung den -assetsrv anhängen und so aber funktioniert alles nicht. Verzweifele schon den ganzen Abend, ich weiß nicht mehr weiter.

Vielleicht weiß jemand im deutschen Forum im August 2021 weiter.

Jarow? Versuch mal folgendes (aus dem EN Forum, hat mir geholfen).

 

This is most commonly caused by the patch server hosting corrupted files, causing GW2 to infinitely download them as it never gets what it expects. To fix this, you have to edit the hosts file to manually select a patch server:

 

Press WindowsKey+R, paste the following, then press CTRL+SHIFT+Enter to run it as an admin:

notepad %windir%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

 

Add the following line, then save and launch GW2:

3.92.131.16 assetcdn.101.arenanetworks.com

 

Remove it when you're done. Ideally, you only want to use this while you're stuck, as it will likely be slower depending on your location (this is the primary US patch server).

 

For future reference, the IP changes roughly every patch; to find the current one, open cmd.exe and enter:

nslookup origincdn.101.arenanetworks.com 8.8.8.8

Habe das gleiche Problem wie du...

Jedes meiner Spiele, jedes MMO auf meinem PC, keines hat diese Pingschwankung wie GW2.

ArenaNet sagt -> Provider ist schuld

Provider sagt -> ArenaNet ist schuld

 

Keiner will es gewesen sein...

 

Wenn alle anderen Spiele außer GW2 reibungslos funktionieren, kann mir keiner sagen, es liegt an meinem PC.

 

Die Tipps von Dayra sind allesamt Käse (sorry).
