  1. Hier nochmal der Text in Englisch: "First things first, this text is not ment abusive, nor hurtful to anyone out there. I'm playing Guild Wars for a few years now, in which i've already experienced some changes over time. Since I play the game for that long of a time, i need to publish my feelings about the new elite specs here in a short version. Being said: I mostly play Raids and sometimes WvW and PvP, so the following opinons are based on these experiences. Light: Virtuoso and Harbinger are designed quite well but not perfect in my opinion. Still very good! Catalyst: kind of a better tempest, really needs some mobility, the "orb" is like a "safezone", which is not too good. Medium: Thief: makes me thinking of the scourge elite spec, which (in my opinion) does not fit really well to the thief's design Engineer: the idea was great, but not done well. The golem is not intelligent, the traits are not combined very easily. The loss of those toolbelt skills is a too big one for me, which makes me think of a core-class. Please change the german name to something like "Maschinist" or "Mechaniker", since you can't steer the golem (unfortunately). Heavy: Warrior: walking siege, way too static/slow Revenant: this one is a complete no-go for me, since you can't combine the new legend in any usefull way with the old ones. Also the ability to change the skills (from blue to red) makes it very difficult to make something usefull out of it, since you cant focus on heal/dps. Possible way to fix this would be to change the traits, so you can setup there, if you are focused on heal or dps, and the skill changes permanently. Guardian: well, it's a thief. general: all of those new Skill-Icons look like someone has recycled the old ones. They don't fit to the old ones at all (the engineer has a total different color?)! All of those build are viable in the open world content, but if you want to focus on certain things and optimize your playstyle, as it is the case in WvW or Raids, then i'd say those new elite spec's aren't part of it. They aren't thought-out that good. What i want to say is: the specs from HoT or PoF, both of them are fitting so much better and harmonize with each other. Conclusion I really hope, many of those new spec's will be changed massivly. In my opinion they aren't thought-out enough to be introduced into e.g. WvW or Raids. This could come from trying to implement three different playstyles in one elite-spec (condi/power/support). This could have been solved better - trait changes or spec change. It does not work out well, as you may see, to combine all three of those in my opinion. So in the end my petition: ArenaNet, please rewatch your elite specs from HoT and PoF, since you did a so much better work on that one. Thanks in advance!
